Invitation from the Conference Convenor
RSA is excited to announce that its 2021 Annual Conference will be delivered in a hybrid event format, offering an in-person conference experience and a virtual connection.
What does this mean for delegates?
More choice and flexibility. For those of you who would prefer in-person networking and learning, exploring the exhibition space, catching up with colleagues, the opportunity to chat to presenters and the conference vibe, you can still attend in-person.
For those of you who are unable to travel, or prefer to learn from the comfort of your home, you can still virtually attend sessions and connect with your peers.
Health and safety is paramount at RSA and the well-being of our speakers, delegates, sponsors and exhibitors at our upcoming conferences is our top priority. We will follow all COVID safe guidelines and we will be working with the conference venue to ensure a safe and secure environment. This includes new measures around physical distancing, increased hygiene practices, safe food service, sanitisation, and cleaning protocols for your safety onsite.
New for 2021, the recordings for the sessions and workshops (except for the Vascular Access workshop) will be available on-demand to all registration types until 16 August 2021. This means, when you return home after the conference you can watch any sessions you have missed or want to catch up on. You can also attend in person the workshop of greatest interest and catch up on the other workshops in your own time. On-demand access will be available to full registrations (both in person and online) and day registrations for your registered day.
The program will feature renowned speakers presenting on a range of topics including:
- What is on the horizons for renal care?
- Is this the time to translate evidence into clinical practice?
- Inter-professional collaboration in renal care
- Self-care for carers of people living with kidney disease
- Challenges in renal care and opportunities for improvement
- Consumer engagement
- COVID-19 pandemic: impact and lessons for renal care
- Self-care of healthcare professionals in a crisis
Knowledge is advanced only when it is shared. In this regard, we encourage you to submit an oral or poster presentation. Abstract submissions open 13 January 2021.
We look forward to welcoming you to our 2021 RSA Annual Conference in June.
