Laura Gaskin, a cardiac nurse and educator presented a well-received session on “Cardiovascular Complications”. Firstly Laura refreshed our memory on the anatomy of the cardiovascular system;  progressing to the pathophysiology of the cardiovascular system.  Laura’s passion heart was evident throughout her presentation

Kim Torpey, vascular access/CKD nurse presented “Complications and Cures for Dialysis Access”.  Kim gave a passionate talk. He presented the traditional methods used to maintain a viable access to the new approach being used by the vascular team at Flinders Medical Centre.
