Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) - Early Detection & Screening Special Interest Group (SIG)

This Special Interest Group (SIG) is focused on the following areas:

  • Raising awareness of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD);
  • Screening for and early detection of Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD);
  • Primary health care management to slow progression of the disease; and
  • Ensuring appropriate and timely referral to specialist services when required.

We are currently promoting the use of discussion forums as well as collaborating via quarterly phone meetings. The phone meeting agenda covers:

  • Feedback from RSA;
  • Clinical Questions/Updates;
  • General Discussion; and
  • Future planning
