
Patients First Award
Recognising a nephrology team or individual who put people and communities first and demonstrate strategies to support best practice outcomes for the patient and their community.
Nominations are required to respond to the below questions:
· What was the problem you were trying to solve?
· What was your solution, initiative, approach or project you implemented to support best practice outcomes for the patient and their community?
· How do you intend to continue this approach or further develop it?
Supporting documents can be provided on the form. By submitting the online nomination form, you agree to the Terms and Conditions.
Nominations will be reviewed by a Judging Panel comprising of up to 3 RSA Life Members (as appointed by the Board). Each award judge is required to declare any conflicts of interest and treat all information provided as confidential.
Each nomination is scored by the award judge against pre-determined assessment criteria and response weighting, arriving at an overall score. The RSA Office collates the judges' scores to arrive at the highest cumulative score to identify the recipient of the award. Should there be a tied result, the RSA President will make the final selection. Award recipients shall be approved by the RSA Board.
