RSA Award
In recognition of an RSA member who exemplifies the values and mission of the Renal Society of Australasia in the advancement of care for people with kidney disease, having made an outstanding contribution and commitment to the RSA and renal community at a local, national and/or international level.
The recipient of this prestigious award may be acknowledged for:
- Their endeavours in the professional progression of RSA members.
- Representation of the RSA across the health sector and wider community.
- Enhancing the RSA's research profile and impact through key research initiatives.
- Facilitating diversity, social inclusion and equity.
- Providing outstanding mentoring to colleagues.
Eligibility:
The following criteria shall apply:
- Current member of RSA with three years consecutive membership.
- Not received the RSA Award in the previous three years.
- Evidence of high standards of practice.
- Evidence of outstanding and continued commitment to the RSA.
Nominations:
Winners of the following award categories will be automatic nominations for the prestigious award:
- RSA Leader Award
- Dedication to Practice Advancement and Innovation Award
- RSA Health Equity Award
- Patients First Award
In addition, members wishing to make nomination for the RSA Award need to complete the nomination form.
Selection:
A judging panel appointed by the Board will select the award recipient
All decisions are final, with no appeals process.

- Provide an example of how the nominee inspires and enables the delivery of better outcomes and experiences in kidney care
