Branch Committee - Nomination

RSA Branches operate under the auspices of the RSA Board. Branches exist in each state/territory of Australia and in New Zealand: New South Wales/Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia/Northern Territory, Tasmania, Western Australia and New Zealand.

Role of Branches

As specified in the Branch Handbook, the role of each Branch Committee is to:

  • Support and contribute to the vision and objectives of the RSA.
  • Organise education and networking events for local members.
  • Promote membership and engagement with the RSA.

Branch Committees are responsible for:

  • Developing and confirming an interesting and diverse range of CPD and networking events for the following calendar year. Consider issues faced by members including venue accessibility and areas of specialty.
  • Develop an annual budget utilising the template provided with the assistance of the RSA Office, for consideration by the Board.
  • Providing content to the RSA for publication in CommuniquéPlus within specified timelines.
  • Working with the RSA Office to ensure planning and marketing is performed within acceptable timelines.
  • Utilising materials supplied to ensure appropriate promotion of the RSA during Branch meetings.
  • Nominating a representative (usually the Chair) for the RSA Advisory Forum.
