With the ever increasing need for kidney transplant and multi organ transplant, we are providing a day focused at developing your understanding of the process involved in preparing patients for transplant.
Topics to be covered include approaching family to raise opportunity for use of their loved ones organs, coordinating retrieval and transplantation, multi organ transplant, paired kidney exchange, transplant medication – transitioning patient to transplant medications, a family perspective on the process and medical presentation on post transplant complications.
The day will also include a very exquisite welcome morning tea and lunch menu.
