Presenters 

Amy Swinbank - Clinical Nurse Consultant. Gold Coast University Hospital

 

Since 2013, Amy Swinbank has worked at the Gold Coast University Hospital as the Renal Access Nurse. Amy commenced Renal nursing in 2008 and has worked across Renal including the renal outpatients, ward, haemodialysis and home therapies.

She has participated at the ANZSIN 2015 special interest workshop on Fistula assessment as well as several Vascular Access Workshops for the Renal Society of Australasia. She enjoys having the opportunity to co-facilitate the Toowoomba / Gold Coast Renal Access Workshop. Amy has a strong interest with ultrasound surveillance and Cannulation with the future goal to obtain advance practice in central line insertions.

Sally Turner, Product Manager - ANZ, Clinical Specialist - Asia Pacific, Renal Care Solutions, Medtronic

 

Sally has been working with Medtronic since 2017 looking after the renal access portfolio for ANZ and Asia Pacific.

Sally's passion for improving patient outcomes in renal access stems from over 3 decades working in the clinical haemodialysis setting.

She has a Bachelor of Nursing and a Graduate Certificate in Nursing (Renal).
