Calciphylaxis in patients with end stage renal disease. An integrated approach to its management: A case series presentation.


Overview

Calciphylaxis is a rare and serious disorder which affects patients who have end-stage kidney disease. The involvement of an integrated interdisciplinary and multifaceted approach is the key to a successful treatment of calciphylaxis. The webinar will include cases studies of haemodialysis patients who have developed calciphylaxis, their treatment and outcome. It will also discuss the clinical practice recommendation for the management of calciphylaxis associated pain in renal patients.
